Ugh, I've had it with these stupid PS3 vs Xbox 360 multiplat game comparisons! It seems every time a mulitplat game is announced everyone starts doing stupid comparisons to prove which version is better. But 99% of the time both versions are practically identical! I mean unless their is a HUGE difference between the two versions (NOT minor graphical differences) I don't care! And in the end the only thing most of these stupid comparisons lead to are flames wars! So everyone should just stop these pointless comparisons & just get the game for whatever platform they prefer!
There are justifiable reasons behind these comparisons. It's just a matter of whether or not the readers and/or the people discussing the comparison are mature enough to keep from bashing each other's home console.
i.e. Bayonetta on release date. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, go do your research. In a nutshell, the Xbox 360 version came out to be the better version by a longshot.
And with your closing sentence ["So everyone should just stop these pointless comparisons & just get the game for whatever platform they prefer!"], how the hell can we purchase the game on the platform we prefer if we decide to stop with these "stupid PS3 vs Xbox 360 multiplat game comparisons" like you suggest us to do???
Again, these comparisons are not pointless at all. It all depends on whether or not the fanboys out there can shut their mouths for at least one multiplatform release...

Actually, if a game can (that's a big if) use all of the PS3 to it's full extent, then it can out do the XBOX 360, but for whatever reason, SONY and their fucking stupid chink wisdom made it super complex to program games with their stupid "CELL" CPU.
Microsoft made it more like a computer, just used 3, 3.2Ghz CPU and made it a lot easier to program, this is why games usually run better.
There is a site that breaks the two machines down, and as much as I hate the PS3, it "IS" more powerful, but there's only been a few games to push the limits. Final Fantasy, Killzone 2, UNcharted 2. That's pretty much it.
